Barbara Claassen, LSCSW

School-Based Therapist

Barbara is based at Isely and Pleasant Valley Elementary schools where she sees children ages 5-12. Her past clinical experience of over 15 years includes working with individuals, couples and families on a variety of mental and behavioral health issues. In her current position, she is passionate about creating the type of therapeutic relationship with each child that enables them to discover their strengths and empowers them to develop emotional and social skills to function more effectively in their everyday relationships and environment. She prefers to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other caregivers as much as possible to achieve these goals.
